Two vehicles involved in north Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two vehicles sustained heavy damage Thursday night in a crash in north Lincoln.

The crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. at 29th Street and Cornhusker Highway.

A Channel 8 reporter saw a minivan with its front end smashed in.

And the airbags deployed in a sedan, which lost its front bumper.

The Lincoln Police Department and Lincoln Fire & Rescue were on scene.

Tow trucks came to remove both vehicles from the road.

Westbound Cornhusker was blocked as crews cleaned up the crash.
