Two vehicles veer off the road in southeast Lincoln crash

Three-vehicle crash shuts down busy southeast Lincoln street

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Crews responded to a three-vehicle crash in southeast Lincoln on Thursday.

Just after 1 p.m., Lincoln Fire & Rescue and the Lincoln Police Department were sent to 40th Street and Duxhall Drive, just south of Old Cheney Road.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene saw two of the vehicles with heavy front-end damage. One of them went off the road.

In a video sent to our NOW Local News App, you can see the heavy damage those the vehicles.

A separate NOW video shows damage to the third vehicle, which left the road and was perched against a tree.

There is still no word on what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.

Crews shut down a portion of 40th Street for a short time while they cleaned up the wreck.
