Union Pacific train collides with semitrailer in southeast Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Union Pacific train collided with a semitrailer Thursday morning in southeast Nebraska.
A spokesperson for Union Pacific said the train hit the semi as it crossed the tracks about two miles south of Syracuse.
No one was injured in the crash, which caused two grain cars to derail.
The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, and the cleanup is underway, according to officials.
County Road K is closed from Highway 50 to Angle Road, the sheriff’s office said.
