United Way’s Coats for Kids application deadline is this Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – This Tuesday is the last day for rural Nebraskan families to apply for free coats for kids.

It’s all a part of the United Way of the Kearney Area’s Coats for Kids program, which provides them at no cost to children in Buffalo, Kearney, and Phelps Counties.

Students who qualify for free and reduced lunches are eligible to apply on UWKA’s website.

But pickup isn’t until September 28th, from 2-6 p.m. at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.
