Unknown teen possibly set 6 fires in Lincoln overnight

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are asking for help identifying an unknown teenager who was spotted during a series of fires in Lincoln.

They say during the overnight hours from Sept. 5 to 6, firefighters responded to six incidents where grass, trash cans or dumpsters that were lit on fire.

Surveillance footage from one area near South 17th Street and Euclid Avenue shows a teen wearing black clothing and red flip flops.

LPD is asking for anyone who has any other video from that timeframe to give them a call.

A Lincoln Fire & Rescue spokesperson says there was less than $500 in damage.
