LINCOLN, Neb. – In February, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln announced its expansion of the E-Sports Club, including ten scholarships and an E-Sports arena in the Union.

Members hope to gain more membership and exposure to the club, while having more resources and a place for to practice and play.

“E-Sports is not just competing, its to make people more at home on campus,” said Z GIvidend, the E-Sports club president.

The club is currently looking for sponsors and donors to help support funding for the arena, and hopes to have the arena done by next spring.
