Three people are dead, including the gunman after a shooting at movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana. Reports of several more injured. It happened around 7:30 pm Thursday night. 

According to reports the gunman died of self-inflicted wound.

The shooting took place at the Grand Theatre in the city of Lafayette, according to rescue personnel.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal tweeting out, "Prayer's for Lafayette at Grand Theater. Talking to state police colonel about shooting in Lafayette."
