Update: Arrest made in stabbing in Lincoln

Update:

A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing at 12th and Washington.

60-Year-Old Hughie Perdew was arrested after Lincoln Police served a search warrant around 4:30 a.m. at the 1200 block of Washington St.

He was charged with second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

The victim is said to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Lincoln Police are investigating a stabbing that happened early this morning around 2 a.m.

The victim was stabbed near 12th and Washington St.

He then ran to a police station on 13th and F St.–where he asked for help.

The victim was stabbed below the armpit.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police say no arrests have been made, but that there is no public safety risk in the area at this time.
