Vehicle, apartment damaged in drive-by shooting near 20th & Washington

Lincoln Police were called to the Near South neighborhood Monday night on reports of a drive-by shooting. 

Officers found a bullet hole in the front window of a woman’s apartment near 20th and Washington Street, and a bullet lodged in the ceiling. Police say a second bullet went through an exterior door and was lodged in the woman’s front door. 

Police say a truck parked outside had also been shot. 

Police estimate the total damage to be around $1,475.
