Vehicle catches fire at Kearney gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle caught fire Thursday at a gas station in Kearney.

The Kearney Police Department said no one was injured in the fire at Speed Mart near Second Avenue and Talmadge Street.

Traffic was temporarily diverted as crews from the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department put out the blaze.

Police shared photos of the charred remains of the vehicle parked at the gas station.

It’s unknown what caused the fire.
