Vehicle caused gas leak after crashing into north Lincoln home, LFR says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle crashed into a north Lincoln home Wednesday afternoon and caused a gas leak, officials say.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue Battalion Chief Aaron Pospisil said a school bus and an SUV crashed near North 11th Street and Garber Avenue around noon.
The collision caused an SUV to leave the road and hit a gas line attached to a house, leading to a gas leak, according to Pospisil.
An LPS spokeswoman said seven students were on board the bus at the time of the crash. No one was injured.
Crews have since fixed the gas leak. Pospisil said the home had to be ventilated due to the presence of gas inside.
It’s unknown what led up to the crash.
