Vehicle crashes into porch of south Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle crashed into the porch of a south Lincoln home on Thursday.

The crash happened around 10:10 a.m. at a home near South 29th Street and Collister Road.

A user of the NOW Local News App shared a video from the scene showing a vehicle that came to a stop on a home’s front porch.

The porch’s fencing was damaged in the crash.  A mailbox at a home down the street also appeared to have been damaged.

LPD said surveillance video showed the vehicle on the left side of the road before it swerved over a curb and crashed into the home.

The driver had injuries that were not life-threatening, according to a preliminary report.  It’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital.
