Vehicle rolled over after striking power pole in southeast Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle landed on its roof after crashing into a power pole in southeast Lincoln on Wednesday.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of 56th and La Salle streets.

Lincoln Police Sgt. Tyler Cooper said a vehicle was heading north on 56th Street when it struck a power pole.
The driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Cooper said the collision knocked out power north of the intersection. Lincoln Electric System crews will be working to restore power in the area.

Southbound 56th Street from Pioneers Boulevard to Spruce Street could be shut down until 8 a.m. Thursday, police said.
