Vehicle rolls over in multi-vehicle crash in central Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A vehicle ended up on its side Monday after a three-vehicle crash in central Lincoln.
Just after 12:30 p.m., first responders were sent to the intersection of 26th and A streets.
In a video sent to our NOW Local News App, you can see an SUV on its side, with heavy damage to the other two vehicles.
A Chevy Impala drove past a stop sign and crashed into a westbound vehicle, a crash report says. The collision caused the vehicle to hit an eastbound Chevy Traverse.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, a witness said the driver of the Impala got out of the vehicle and ran off.
LPD said at least one person was rescued from the SUV on its side, but their injuries are not-life threatening.
At least one person was taken to Bryan West Medical Center.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
