LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were injured Saturday in a three-vehicle crash in Plattsmouth.

An Infinity Q50 driven by a 25-year-old Hastings man was heading south on Highway 75, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office said.

It was quickly approaching the intersection with Highway 66, where several vehicles were stopped at the light.

The driver lost control and “violently” rear-ended a Dodge Durango, wedging it against a semitrailer-truck, the sheriff’s office said.

The drivers of the Infinity and Dodge were taken to a hospital in Omaha.  The extent of their injuries is unknown.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
