‘Very eerie’: Dust clouds fill Nebraska sky as storm moves through
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A dust storm blew through southeast Nebraska on Friday.
“Looks very eerie back here,” said Tim on the Now Local News App.
Channel 8’s camera in Utica captured the dust storm tearing across the prairie.
The storms brought big clouds of dirt, making for some scary driving conditions.
Visibility was lower as dust was being blown around by strong winds.
A video near Crete showed debris flying around as the sky was filled with dust.
And it left behind a real mess, making vehicles look like it rained mud instead of water.
Tonia on the NOW Local News App sent in a photo showing her pickup truck caked in dirt.
