LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police say a drunken Lincoln woman assaulted multiple officers and medical staff early Sunday morning.

Shortly after midnight, officers on patrol downtown were told that a woman was trying to fight people near 13th and O streets.

Police found 22-year-old Hailey Wilson, who appeared “very intoxicated,” according to an arrest affidavit.

They arranged for an Uber driver to take her home and waited with her for her ride, police said.

But Wilson started yelling at the officers and waving her hands toward one of them, the affidavit says.

Police said while one officer was trying to stop her, she hit him on the side of the face.

Wilson was taken to jail, where here blood alcohol content level was measured at 0.338%. That is more than four times the legal limit for driving.

Jail staff said she needed to be evaluated at a hospital, so Lincoln Fire & Rescue came to transport her.

But as she was being loaded on the gurney, Wilson bit a corrections officer on the hand, according to court documents.

LFR took Wilson to Bryan West Medical Center, where the affidavit says she was uncooperative for “the entire duration of her stay.”

She bit the finger of an officer wo was putting her in restraints, police said.

The affidavit also says she dug her fingernails into a security guard’s arm, “breaking skin and drawing blood.”

Police said two nurses were also injured while trying to restrain Wilson.

Eventually, Wilson was taken back to the Lancaster County Jail.

She is facing four counts of third-degree assault on an officer/health care professional.

On Monday, a judge set her bond at $3,500.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 26.
