VIDEO: NY Assisted living facility goes up in flames
Overnight, an assisted living facility caught flames, trapping a fireman and causing numerous other injuries to residents

SPRING VALLEY, NY. (KLKN)- Just after 1 a.m. this morning, a fire broke out inside the Evergreen Court for Adults in Spring Valley, New York.
One firefighter and multiple residents of an assisted living facility are being treated after a fire burned through the building. A few people were trapped inside and firefighters had to rescue them.
Part of the building collapsed while firefighters were still on the scene, trapping one of them inside.
That firefighter is now out and getting treated for his injuries.
According to the State of New York, the facility has 200 beds.

Update: These seniors were evacuated about an hour ago from the Evergreen nursing home in Spring Valley, they were taken to to the Golden Acre Rest Home at 11 Prospect Street in Spring Valley.
