Vietnam pilot who served over 30 years a vendor at 22nd annual Ribfest

SMG-managed Pinnacle Bank Arena announced the 22nd Annual Nebraska Pork Producers Capital City Ribfest is set for August 16 through 18 at Pinnacle Bank Arena’s Festival Lot located just north of the arena.

Nebraska Pork Producers Capital City Ribfest celebrates its 22nd year as Lincoln’s favorite and longest-running summer festival featuring award-winning barbecue from around the country and some of the best local and regional live music on the Ribfest Soundstage.

Seven award-winning barbecue vendors will be serving smoked varieties of ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken and more.

The festival is unique to Lincoln in that barbecue is the focal point of the event – offering the public a chance to sample a variety of barbecue recipes all without leaving Lincoln.

The Ribfest Soundstage will bring a variety of music acts during the three days in August.

Evan Bartels & The Stoney Lonesomes will headline Ribfest on Thursday night, Emmett Bower Band on Friday night, and Here Come the Mummies on Saturday night.
