Volunteer firefighters extinguish vehicle fire on I-80 in eastern Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol thanked volunteer firefighters after a vehicle fire near Gretna on Tuesday.

In a Facebook post, the patrol shared a photo of the burnt vehicle on Interstate 80.

Nobody was injured, the patrol said.  It is unknown what caused the fire.

“Thanks to all of our public safety partners for their quick response in situations from border to border across Nebraska,” the patrol said.
