Wahoo man killed when ejected from truck in Saunders County crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Wahoo man was killed Monday night when he was ejected from his truck during a crash in Saunders County, the sheriff’s office says.

The crash happened east of Cedar Bluffs at the intersection of County Roads X and 16 around 10:30 p.m.

Jedd Lofgren, 36, was heading north on County Road 16 when he drove off the road and went into a ditch, the sheriff’s office says.

Lofgren’s truck then became airborne over County Road X and crashed into a tree, according to the sheriff’s office.

The truck flipped before coming to a stop about a hundred feet north of County Road X.

Lofgren was ejected from his vehicle during the crash, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities weren’t made aware of the crash until about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

When deputies arrived, they pronounced Lofgren dead at the scene.
