Wanted man taken into custody at east Lincoln apartment
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities with the Metro Fugitive Task Force arrested a wanted man Tuesday at an apartment in east Lincoln.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the task force took 33-year-old Jose Almanza into custody at the apartment near 40th and Holdrege streets.
A spokeswoman with the agency said Almanza had a warrant for failing to appear on a sentencing charge.
The Metro Fugitive Task Force is made up of members of the sheriff’s office, the Lincoln Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service.
