Warm again Friday; mostly dry, mild through Easter weekend

This work week came in like a lion but goes out like a lamb. Another warm start to Friday with winds out of the southeast around 10-15 mph.

Temperatures will warm up to the upper 60s and 70s for another day with clouds increasing for the afternoon.

Day Planner Pivot

There are several spotty chances for a brief shower that mainly miss to the north and south through the weekend. A passing cold front will drop temperatures into the upper 50s Saturday, but we remain mild for Easter weekend and egg hunts!

3day Lincoln Forecast

The first round that comes close will bring spotty showers across the Kansas border to our south overnight Friday into Saturday.

Late Friday

The next round that has more showers missing us to the north overnight Saturday into Sunday toward the South Dakota border. Rain will remain light for those that do see it.

Late Sat

Then late Sunday and especially Monday, rain chances increase for southeast Nebraska. A few thunderstorms may be borderline severe, with a Marginal (Level 1 of 5) risk from the Storm Prediction Center that includes Nebraska City, Falls City and extreme southeast Nebraska. Isolated hail events are the main concern at this time.

Spc Sunday

A stormy start to next week will hold temperatures in the low and mid 50s, before another warm end to the week into early April.
