Warm and quiet through the weekend

While Thursday morning may be starting off on a chilly note in a few areas, that will certainly not be the case for the rest of the day. We’re looking at high temperatures in the middle and upper-70s across the area – much higher than Wednesday’s 60s. The day will feature lots of sunshine, with a few waves of high clouds drifting in from the north.

Thursday Forecast

You’ll probably be able to ditch the coats over the next couple of days. You might want the light jacket on some mornings depending on your preferences, but we’re only looking at 40s and 50s for lows through the weekend. The afternoons will be very warm, with highs in the 80s. In fact, we may surpass Sunday’s record high of 84°!

Ditch the Coats

By Sunday night, a storm system will be on our doorstep. That could develop some storms late Sunday in eastern Nebraska. A few lingering showers are possible on Monday.

Stormcast Sunday Night

Sunday night’s rain forecast hinges entirely on where storms develop, which could occur to our east. We still have a few days to watch this potential, but this doesn’t look like a huge rain event
at this time. Either way, there will be a disturbance nearby that could bring rain for some.
