Warm and Windy Friday- Breezy and Cooler Weekend
Today: Temperatures will be record breaking across the state with highs in the upper 70s and 80s. Southwest winds will be breezy especially out west. Several records will be broken this afternoon including Lincoln! Record: 75 degrees (1990).
Weekend: Saturday night, a cold front will move through bringing temperatures into the 60s for Sunday. Sunday looks to be a beautiful day before the cold and rain move in. Get out and enjoy this weekend as much as possible.
Next week: Monday- Tuesday, rain likely and possible rain/snow mix in far northeast Nebraska with temperatures near average (53 degrees). We are also keeping an eye on Thanksgiving day! COLD air and even snow and rain will be possible. Keep an eye on the latest forecasts.
Strong west winds will occur across western Nebraska this afternoon. Wind gusts up to 30-35+ mph.
A WARM Friday afternoon, high temperatures will warm into the upper 70s and 80s under mostly sunny skies and breezy west winds.
