Warm and windy Sunday- Cold front Sunday night

Sunday will be another warm and windy day across Nebraska, with south winds gusting up to 45 mph and highs in the low to upper 80s. There could be a few light rain showers Sunday morning in eastern Nebraska. By Sunday night, the long-awaited cold front moves through SE Nebraska, sparking a few scattered rain showers south of I-80. Monday morning will feel chilly and brisk with temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Monday night, more rain showers and a few thunderstorms will develop south of I-80 and continue all through Tuesday. Temperatures will remain in the 60s and 70s all through next weekend.

South winds will be gusting to around 35-45 mph throughout the day Sunday. Winds will change to a northward direction Monday, bringing cooler air across the state!
