Warm Fall Friday Evening, Partly Sunny for Saturday

After a warm and sunny Friday afternoon, temperatures will gradually fall after sunset into the 60s.
We have a beautiful fall evening ahead for some high school football! For our Game of the Week, the Falls City Tigers take on the Syracuse Rockets in Syracuse, Nebraska, at 6 p.m. Mostly sunny skies for much of southeast Nebraska this evening, and temperatures in the lower 70s near dinner time.
Stormcast shows an increasing cloud cover across the state, with overnight showers and possibly a thunderstorm in north-central Nebraska.
Low temperatures in southeast Nebraska will fall to the mid-50s under partly cloudy skies.
In Lincoln, it will be partly cloudy, but a mild start to the weekend, with temperatures dropping to the mid-50s.
Temperatures will be a few degrees above average across southeast Nebraska, with highs in the mid-to-upper 70s and lower 80s.
Partly sunny skies in the Capital City with high temperatures in the mid-70s. It will be breezy here in Lincoln with winds out of the southeast betwen 5 and 15 miles per hour, gusting to 25.
A quick look at conditions in College Park, Maryland, where the Nebraska Cornhuskers will take on the Maryland Terrapins. Wet conditions will be possible with an incoming low-pressure system bringing rain across the East Coast. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CDT.
Lincoln will get our own chance at showers and thunderstorms starting on Sunday. A roller coaster of temperatures through the weekend, with highs jumping to the mid-80s on Sunday before plummeting to the mid-60s on Monday. Storm chances continue through the middle of next week. Temperatures return to the 70s on Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies heading into next weekend.
