Warm Start to the Week — Colder Finish
Monday afternoon, a warm front will move west to east and stall near the Tri-cities by Monday evening. Temperatures will reach the 50s out west and 40s further east. Sunny skies and breezy SW winds will accompany much of us.
SW winds will gust to around 20+ mph Monday afternoon. South winds= warmer air!
Tuesday, high temperatures feeling well above average for much of the state! Some spots in SW Nebraska could get close to 70 degrees. A pleasant and warmer December day ahead on Tuesday.
December 14-18 (SUN-THUR): Precipitation wise, much of the country looks to see below normal on rain/snow chances. A few clipper systems are possible late next week.
Monday, expect sunny, warm and above average conditions. Tuesday, the warmth finally sinks in across the state with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. A cold front will move through Wednesday morning bringing chances for light rain/snow across Nebraska. After Thursday, temperatures will stay between 27-41 degrees with low precipitation chances. Our next big system could come near DEC 19-23.
