Warm & sunny Monday forecast 2/7/2022
We are off to a pretty mild start out there for a February morning! Temperatures are in the 20s and 30s with wind chill values in the teens for some. While clouds are currently moving through eastern Nebraska, these will clear out by the afternoon and temperatures will quickly soar! Highs will be warmer compared to this past weekend, with most of the area reaching the low 60s. It will be a fantastic day to spend some time outside in the warmth and sunshine, just make sure you grab your sunglasses. Temperatures remain mild overnight, in the upper 20s with mostly clear skies. A cold front will move through tomorrow and wind speeds will turn blustery as a result. Normally temperatures plunge and turn cold after a cold front, but that won’t be the case tomorrow. Yes, temperatures will cool a bit by the afternoon, but highs will still reach the upper 50s. Wind speeds remain gusty for the rest of the week and temperatures stay in the 50s. The dry weather pattern also sticks around all week even though we could use a bit of moisture.
