Warm & Sunny Wednesday, Snow Thursday Morning
Thursday morning brings light snow showers north of I-80. Winds will be light so blowing snow shouldn’t be a concern. Better chance for an inch of snow further northeast near O’Neil. Snow will taper off by noon with lingering flurries Thursday night.
A slice of 1-2″ into parts of northeast Nebraska. There could be a moisture spike creating a band of moderate snowfall north of Columbus. The further south you are the less snow Trace-0.50″. This map is through Thursday night.
Here’s a look at dry air/moisture (green) Thursday morning. Northeast Nebraska has a better moisture pool. Some drier air could try and push in along I-80 west of Lincoln.
Wednesday afternoon, above freezing temperatures with sunny skies & light winds. Thursday, brings light snow chances across northeast and eastern Nebraska. Saturday into Sunday looks to be a better chance for light snow across the state. By next week, a warming trend could be in store! Temperatures getting back into the 40s with some light RAIN/sleet possible.
