Warmer days ahead with freezing rain chances
The work week starts with warmer temperatures than we’ve seen in sometime.
It looks like we finally catch a break and crawl out of the deep freeze.
South winds tomorrow will still be on the breezy side making temperatures feel around ten degree colder than normal.
The good news is subzero wind chills won’t be part of this weeks forecast.
Maybe some patchy fog Monday morning with a chance for areas of freezing rain overnight Monday then returning late Tuesday night.
Rain is likely on Wednesday and may linger on Thursday as temperatures gradually warm up into the weekend and beyond.
Normal temperatures for January are right around 35 for Lincoln and as we roll into next Sunday and the first part of next week
we might get a sense that spring is just around the corner.
