Warmer weekend for southeast Nebraska

If you like warmer weather you should like most of the weekend.  Temperatures should remain above normal Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon.  This trend will continue in to the beginning of next week.

Expect to see mainly sunny skies over southeast Nebraska Saturday.  While Saturday morning will start out cool, temperatures will quickly warm through the day.  High temperatures will be in the lower to middle 50°s.

A cold front will pass through eastern Nebraska Sunday.  This will bring cooler air to far eastern Nebraska Sunday afternoon.  There will be a wide range in temperatures from the upper 30°s near Omaha to the middle 40°s in Grand Island.

Temperatures climb back to near 50° Monday afternoon under mainly sunny skies.  You’ll notice a bigger jump in temperatures Tuesday.  Highs should be in the upper 50°s to lower 60°s.
