Warming trend ahead
Another calm night is in store for southeast Nebraska with clear skies and temperatures dropping down to the lower 60s. Tomorrow will start off with sunny skies, but clouds will gradually build into the area by the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will remain below average in the mid-80s with a light wind out of the south. We continue to see a lack of moisture in the atmosphere for the next several days, and while it is needed for some areas, heat index won’t be an issue as a result. But actual air temperatures are expected to warm back above average with highs in the 90s by the weekend.
