WATCH: Burglar cut hole in roof, stole $6,000 from safe at Lincoln business

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for a duo involved in a theft at a northwest Lincoln business last month.

The theft happened on Sept. 23 at Sadoff Iron and Metal in Air Park.  Two people were caught on a security camera walking around the business.

Police said one of the thieves cut a hole through the roof and dropped down into a utility room.

The burglar then broke into the safe and stole $6,000 before leaving the business.  Police estimate the business had about $8,000 in damage.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
