WATCH: Latest on severe threats both Sunday and Monday

Just have time for a video update as of Saturday morning to talk about the risk for severe weather in Nebraska both Sunday and Monday (April 27 and 28, 2025). Please watch the video update this morning (that was also posted to my YouTube page) for the latest update.

Sunday is more of a conditional severe threat especially across western Nebraska and even up toward northwest Nebraska.

Monday looks to be more of a setup where storms are first firing in eastern Nebraska with all severe weather hazards possible before racing east and intensifying for areas of Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

As of Saturday morning, the timeframe for all severe weather hazards (tornadoes, large hail and damaging wind) is an 11AM-4PM window Monday, April 28th.
