LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Storms brought a lightning show to Lincoln on Monday night.

Users of the NOW Local News App captured photos and videos of how it looked in their part of the capital city.

As the storms rolled in, Denise Lord submitted a video from northwest Lincoln showing the trees rustling in the wind and lightning flickering in the distance.

Then the sky turned dark, but it was lit up repeatedly by bolts of lightning.

Renee Gausman uploaded a video to the NOW App showing the view of the display in north Lincoln.

The show continued for a couple hours, and Tonia sent in a video showing the intense lightning seen in the College View neighborhood.

Channel 8’s Rod Fowler took a look at our tower cams as lightning swept across the city before the 10 p.m. show.

Lincolnites also saw some rain, as seen in this video from Kelly.

Amanda sent in her view of the overnight light show from northwest Lincoln.
