WATCH: Lincoln dog missing for 21 days reunites with owner

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Animal Control helped reunite an owner with his dog that went missing last month.

On Thursday, a person near 148th Street and Havelock Avenue contacted animal control about a dog on their property.

They tried to capture the dog but were unsuccessful.  Animal control officers then set up a trap on the property.

On Friday, the dog was caught, and animal control officers recognized her.

Opal went missing on Oct. 21 and had been spotted across Lincoln.

In a Facebook post, Lincoln Animal Control shared a video of Opal and her owner reuniting.
