WATCH: Hail sweeps through southeast Nebraska during severe weather burst

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Hail swept through the Capital City on Thursday afternoon during a wave of severe weather.

Several users on Channel 8’s NOW Local News App sent in pictures and videos of hail of varying sizes.

Tim sent in a video of a hailstorm in the Havelock neighborhood.

Brylin sent in a video of hail near Northwest 48th Street in Lincoln.

Denise had a bunch of hail fall in her neighborhood in east Lincoln.

Jeff sent in two videos, showing pea and nickel-sized hail pelting his deck in northeast Lincoln.

Hail was also falling in the Highlands neighborhood, as per this video sent in by Lisa.

Channel 8’s Danielle DaSilva also sent a video showing hail falling at the station.

Tim sent a video of hail falling in Waverly.

Linda also sent in a video of hail falling in Beatrice.

LeRoy sent in a video of students getting caught in the hailstorm while walking home from school.
