WATCH: Man attacked with shopping cart at Lincoln grocery store
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for a man who attacked a shopper at a central Lincoln grocery store last month.
It happened at Russ’s Market near 17th and Washington streets around 6:40 a.m. on May 3.
The victim reported that another man wearing a hat was “staring excessively at him.”
He confronted the man and “exchanged some words,” according to police.
The man then pushed his cart toward the victim, so he pushed it back.
The victim reported that the man then grabbed the cart off the ground and threw it at him.
Police said it missed and there were no major injuries other than a sore hand.
Officers are also searching for a man who stole several packages from a porch at a home near 27th Street and Pine Lake Road on May 20.
The man, who had his face covered with an orange towel, got out of a gray Chrysler 300 and walked up to the home’s porch, police said.
He took multiple packages, which contained three books, a dog hair remover and women’s underwear.
