WATCH: Man flips out over cup of pickles at Lincoln McDonald’s, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who made a scene over a cup of pickles at a Lincoln McDonald’s last month.

On May 28, a man went into the McDonald’s near 27th and Vine Streets and wanted a cup of pickles.

But a worker said he would have to pay for the pickles.  This led to the man throwing a sandwich, police said.

The cashier tried calming the man down, but police said he started making “derogatory” comments toward her.

As the employee was trying to make sure he left the store, the man spat in her face, according to police.

Police are also searching for the man who threw a brick into a home near 32nd and Holdrege Streets on June 6.

Security video captured the man throwing the brick.  The homeowner said he doesn’t think the man ever entered the home.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
