WATCH: Man smashes vehicle’s window to steal $700 in southeast Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who stole hundreds of dollars in cash from a vehicle in southeast Lincoln.
The theft happened on Aug. 22 at a home near 56th and Pioneers Street.
Police said the victim went to the bank and noticed a silver Honda Odyssey had been following him back to his home.
The victim went inside for less than three minutes.
When he came back outside, he found that his passenger window was smashed and $700 in cash that he had gotten from the bank was gone.
Security video captured a man in a gray Nike jacket and black Adidas pants breaking into the vehicle.
Police are also seeking a man who punched a glass door of a bus on Aug. 25 near 27th and Superior streets.
The man was turned away from service because he was trying to bring a large wagon onto the bus, according to police.
He was told he would have to wait for the next bus to accommodate the wagon.
The man then got upset and shattered the bus’s glass door, police said.
