WATCH: Thief breaks into north Lincoln smoke shop, steals over $1,500 in product

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are seeking the person who stole over $1,500 in product during a break-in at a north Lincoln smoke shop last week.

On Jan. 29 around midnight, cameras caught a person using a tool to break open the front glass door of G & G Smoke Shop near 27th and Randolph streets.

The burglar climbed inside, ran to a display and started loading up a bucket with various products, according to police.

LPD said the thief was last seen riding a bike northbound on 27th Street.

Police are also searching for a vandal who damaged a car wash’s coin machine and stole about $50 worth of coins in northwest Lincoln.

It happened on Jan. 20 at Power Wash near Northwest First Street and Fletcher Avenue.

Police estimated the vandal caused about $1,000 in damage.

They were seen driving a unique 1987-1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck with custom black wheels and a charcoal stripe.  The truck also had several stickers on the back window.
