WATCH: Thief breaks into southeast Lincoln company’s work vans
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a thief who broke into a company’s work vans last month in southeast Lincoln.
Around 4:30 a.m. on Feb. 3, someone arrived in a Lincoln Navigator at a kitchen remodeling business near 56th Street and Nebraska Parkway.
The person broke out the windows of two work vans and stole $3,450 worth of tools, according to police.
The stolen items varied from a charging cable to a DeWalt table saw, police said.
Police are also looking for a person who stole a construction trailer from a job site near 27th Street and Rokeby Road on Feb. 19.
Security video captured the trailer being hauled off by a light-colored Jeep Gladiator around 4:30 a.m.
The trailer was recovered on Feb. 23 near 40th Street and Rokeby Road.
Police said the lock was broken but nothing was missing from the trailer.
