WATCH: Thief steals two guns after breaking into pickup truck in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for the man who stole two guns from a pickup truck in east Lincoln earlier this month.

On Aug. 7, a man broke into the vehicle near 56th and R streets and took a 9 mm Sig Sauer and a .22-caliber mini-revolver.

In the truck’s security video, the thief was wearing gloves, but he may have a tattoo on his left hand, police said.

Police are also looking for the man spotted trespassing at a home near 33rd Street and Sheridan Boulevard on Aug. 7.

Around 4:45 a.m., security video captured the man taking off after he noticed the camera.
