WATCH: Two tried stealing coins out of laundry machine at Lincoln apartment
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for two people who tried to steal coins out of a laundry machine at a Lincoln apartment earlier this month.
On Aug. 4, security video at the apartment near 27th and A streets showed a man trying to break open a laundry machine with bolt cutters.
Police said he was unable to break the locks open, but investigators are looking for the man and his accomplice.
Police are also looking for the man who stole a truck that was parked at a business near 44th Street and Cornhusker Highway.
On July 26, a man was spotted on security video riding his bike around the parking lot
He then tossed the bike into the back of a pickup truck, which was left unlocked with the keys inside, and drove off.
Police said the truck was later recovered, but the thief is still on the loose.
