WATCH: Vehicles speed off after drive-by shooting in north Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are seeking information on the people involved in a drive-by shooting earlier this month in north Lincoln.
Around 5:40 a.m. on Feb. 2, security cameras captured the sound of six gunshots near North Second Street and Belmont Avenue.
Shortly after, two vehicles — a white hatchback and a dark-colored SUV — were seen speeding off.
It’s unclear which vehicle the shots came out of, according to police.
Investigators found bullet holes in vehicles parked at a home in the area.
Police are also looking for a man involved in a fraud at the Pinnacle Bank inside Hy-Vee near 50th and O streets on Feb. 14.
The man gave the teller a fake ID of the account holder’s name and social security number to withdraw a “large amount of cash,” according to police.
But when the man was asked for the account PIN, he became “upset” and claimed to have Alzheimer’s, police said.
He left in a newer model Jeep.
The victims reported missing some billing statements from their mailbox recently but nothing else out of the ordinary.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
