Waverly Vikings march over Seward Bluejays

SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) – The Waverly Vikings dominated the Seward Bluejays 33-6 Friday night in a chilly Bulldog Stadium.

In the first quarter, Waverly quarterback Nolan Maahs handed off the ball to Evan Kastens for an 11-yard rushing touchdown. This put them up 6-0 in the first quarter.

Up 13-0 in the first quarter, Maahs passed it to Nathan Axmann, who ran it down for a 67-yard touchdown.

Seward got on the board in the second quarter as quarterback Tresten Haas found a gap on second-and-10 to take it in for the touchdown to make it 19-6.
