Weather causing canceled, delayed flights at Lincoln Airport

Weather is causing delays and even some cancellations for flights going in and out of the Lincoln airport.
As of Wednesday morning, flights involving Chicago, Minneapolis, and Denver were most affected.
Executive Director Dave Haring said it’s impossible to guess how long flights may be affected by the weather.
Haring said some flights were affected as part of a “domino effect,” after planes intended to travel to another location from Lincoln were grounded or delayed.
He advises travelers keep a close eye on their flight schedules, especially those with early morning flights Thursday morning.
Haring said some passengers may be able to obtain waivers for flight changes.
