Weather, construction push back opening date for Lincoln Children’s Zoo
Eager visitors will have to wait another two weeks to see the animals at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo.
Zoo President/CEO John Chapo said weather has forced the zoo the push back its opening day to March 22.
Chapo also cited ongoing construction as another reason for the delay.
The zoo was originally scheduled to open Friday.
The zoo will open at 10:00 a.m. on March 22.
