Weather forces cancellation of Nebraska basketball opening night

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska Athletic Department announced the cancellation of basketball’s opening night in the Railyard.

Due to inclement weather, the teams will no longer host events outside.

In its place, both the men’s and women’s basketball teams will host a free autograph session for fans in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The autograph session will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Special Opening Night posters for both programs will be available for fans to pick up at the event.
